This agreement

These terms describe the agreement between you and Oversine, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”), a Delaware corporation at 2261 Market Street STE 68058, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States, for the Versine service. Our Privacy Policy describes the related processing of personal data.

Versine lets an assistant complete identity-provider authentication for supported platforms with your authority. The platform controls its own accounts, sessions, permissions and eligibility. Signing in does not authorize a purchase or other transaction.

These documents are being updated from Oversine's previous policies. Existing rights and commitments are not withdrawn by publishing this review draft.

Accounts and companies

You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher, and able to enter a binding agreement. Provide accurate information and use only accounts you are authorized to control.

My and Mobile share a personal account. Console uses a separate platform-administrator account and company organization. Having one account in each realm is allowed; do not create duplicates to evade restrictions. Company administrators must be authorized to represent their organization and manage its members and projects.

Clerk handles authentication. My and Console support Google or email-code flows; Mobile currently uses email codes. Names and verified email are required. Phone collection and SMS verification are not required. Protect your accounts, devices and MCP credentials, and report suspected compromise to legal@oversine.com.

The service

Versine currently provides OpenID Connect authentication for platforms using Auth0, connected-assistant MCP handshakes, optional human legal approvals, platform-specific onboarding information, authorization history, revocation, blacklist controls and signed authorization webhooks. Console manages organization-owned projects and separate company/platform logos. Mobile provides access to personal approval controls.

Legacy partner-tool publication, arbitrary tool execution, automatic OAuth connector installation and Wallet/payment functionality are not included in this implementation. Other broker integrations are not currently supported. We do not promise that every assistant client or platform can connect.

Versine is currently free for people. We may add, change or retire features. Any future charges require clear notice and agreement to applicable payment terms; an authentication handshake is not agreement to pay.

Your assistant's authority

When you create a named MCP connection and give its bearer credential to your assistant, you authorize that connection to complete sign-in and sign-up requests for you on supported platforms, subject to your controls and required approvals. You are responsible for choosing the assistant, configuring its permissions and giving lawful instructions.

The connection may obtain your permitted identity fields and platform-specific onboarding details for an active, non-blacklisted authorization. Its token expires after 90 days unless revoked earlier. Do not share it through chat, public code or URLs.

This authority does not include buying goods, starting subscriptions, supplying payment information, signing unrelated contracts, bypassing a platform's rules or acting as another person. Platform Terms/Privacy acceptance presented by Versine must be completed by you, not by the assistant. Platform actions beyond authentication remain subject to your separate instructions and that platform's terms.

Only complete a handshake for a code read on the Versine page reached from the platform being used. A matching code/page and browser cookie do not prove the approving assistant controls that browser. Prompt injection and code phishing remain risks; do not approve codes relayed through messages or untrusted documents.

Approvals and information

A platform may register optional Terms of Service and Privacy Policy URLs. If a current acceptance is missing, authentication waits while you review the documents in My or Mobile. You may accept or reject. We record the document URLs, version and acceptance time. Current acceptance may be reused; changed legal settings require acceptance again on the next authorization.

If no legal URLs are registered, Versine does not add a legal-acceptance gate. This does not mean the platform has no terms or excuse it from obtaining any legally required agreement or consent. Versine is not a party to your platform agreement.

When required onboarding information is missing, the assistant may request it. You supply it through My or Mobile. Do not submit passwords, payment details or unrelated sensitive information. A stored phone number is not automatically verified.

Platform responsibilities

Platform administrators must register accurate details and callbacks, have permission to use uploaded logos, protect client/webhook secrets, publish applicable legal documents and use identity data lawfully. They control their downstream sessions, accounts, authorization, retention and user support.

Authorization webhooks contain identity and acceptance records. Verify the signature over the exact raw body, enforce timestamp freshness and durably deduplicate the stable event ID. Only exactly HTTP 200 OK acknowledges delivery; every other status and network failure is retried up to the documented limit. Delivery is at least once, not exactly once, and webhook failure does not reverse authentication.

A separate executed platform agreement, if any, continues to govern the matters it covers. Legacy partner-tool documentation does not expand the current service.

Revocation, blacklist and notifications

You can revoke a platform authorization, disconnect an assistant, or blacklist a platform in My/Mobile. Revocation stops the current Versine authority; a blacklist blocks future authorization until you remove it. These actions do not delete an external platform account or end a session that platform has already issued.

Optional push notifications alert you to pending legal approvals. Notification delivery and opening a link are not acceptance. Requests remain available in the app and My if push is disabled, delayed or unavailable. Expired requests need a new platform flow. Onboarding-detail requests currently appear in Approvals without a push-delivery guarantee.

Acceptable use

Do not impersonate others; evade bans; approve someone else's login; steal, share or misuse credentials; access other organizations' data; defeat security checks; overload services; submit unlawful material; or use Versine in violation of law or applicable platform terms. We may rate-limit or suspend abusive access to protect the service.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy covers profile data, organization/project records, authorization and legal-acceptance history, encrypted onboarding values, connection metadata and optional push-device data. Platforms and assistant hosts have their own responsibilities for the information they receive.

Ownership and feedback

Versine's software, design, documentation and marks belong to us or our licensors. We grant a personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service under these terms. Separately licensed open-source code remains governed by its license. Your uploaded content remains yours; you permit us to store and display it to provide the requested functionality. We may use feedback without obligation to you.

Ending use

You can stop using the service and revoke connections and authorizations. For account deletion or a data copy, contact privacy@oversine.com. Self-service account deletion/export is not yet available; revoking access does not erase records. We handle applicable privacy requests subject to identity verification and legal retention requirements.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, legal requirements or discontinuation, subject to applicable law. Provisions that should survive, including responsibility for prior acts, ownership, disclaimers, liability and dispute terms, survive.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, acceptance by every platform, notification delivery or an assistant's behavior. Mandatory consumer rights remain.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Oversine, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising from the service, an assistant or an external platform. Our total liability is limited to the greater of USD 100 and amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or gross negligence or wilful misconduct where exclusion is not permitted.

Governing law and disputes

California law governs, without conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the state or federal courts in San Francisco County, California, except where mandatory consumer law gives you local-law or local-court rights. Contact legal@oversine.com before starting proceedings so we can try to resolve the issue.

An unenforceable provision does not invalidate the remainder. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement; we may assign it in a merger, acquisition or asset sale subject to applicable notice and law.

Changes and contact

Adopted updates will identify an effective date and receive any notices or agreement required by law or an existing contract. Automatic notice/reacceptance workflows are not yet implemented; this draft is not itself an adoption notice.
