Delete Your Account

Este documento solo está disponible en inglés.
This page explains how to delete your account in the Versine app, made by Oversine, Inc. (“Versine,” “we” or “us”), and what happens to your information when you do. You can delete it yourself in the app, or ask us to delete it by email.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open Versine and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
- Approve it with your passkey (Face ID, fingerprint or your phone’s screen lock).
2. Before you delete
Your money is in your own account, and Versine never holds it, so an account can only be deleted once nothing is still moving. If any of these apply, the app lists them and shows where to finish each one:
- Money in your account. Move it to your bank or send it to someone first.
- A payment still on its way. Wait for it to finish.
- Payments not yet claimed. Cancel them in Activity, or wait until they’re claimed.
- Open requests. Cancel the ones you sent, and pay or decline the ones you got.
- Recurring payments. Cancel them first.
- Money on its way to your bank. Wait for it to arrive.
- Money you added that’s still on its way. Wait for it to arrive.
3. Ask us to delete it
If you can’t use the app, for example because you no longer have your phone, email privacy@versine.com from the email address on your Versine account, with the subject “Delete my account.” Anything listed in section 2 still has to be finished first.
4. What we delete
- Your sign-in account, which signs you out on every phone and computer.
- The contacts you saved who aren’t on Versine.
- The last four digits of your Social Security number, if we kept them.
We also release your phone number, so no one can find you by it on Versine.
5. What we keep
- Your account, identity verification and transaction records, for 5 years after your account closes, as the law and our providers require.
- Payments recorded on the blockchain, which can’t be deleted by us or anyone else.
6. Questions
Email privacy@versine.com. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it.
